EDDIE READ (RIP 2002)
It is with a great great sadness and sense of personal loss that
we announce that Eddie Read collapsed and died suddenly on Saturday 16 March
2002 and was cremated on Monday 25 March. Our deepest, sincere and heartfelt
sympathy is extended to his wife Georgina and family.
At the time of his death, Eddie was personally and energetically involved in arranging the first Engine Fitters Reunion and it is Georgina's wish that these arrangements continue in the capable hands of 'Dave' Seaton who has been our engine fitter contact with Eddie's family.
Consequently,
Eddie's Engine Fitters' Reunion 2002
took place on
Saturday 13 July 2002
at
